About the region

A protected name

Only coffee grown in designated parts of the Blue Mountains, in the parishes of St Andrew, St Thomas, Portland and St Mary, can be sold as Jamaica Blue Mountain. Jamaica’s coffee authority certifies every lot.

Cool mist, steep slopes and small farms keep volumes low. Much of the crop goes to Japan, so certified Blue Mountain is rare and expensive in the US.
